More than bookkeeping.
Your business, every morning.
Documents flow in automatically, the books are updated every morning — and at the start of the working day your client sees the true state of their business, per location. All under your brand.
The documents come on their own.
Six ways a mandate's documents reach us — without anyone having to forward them.
01The mandate's e-mail inbox
The client forwards the invoice to the mandate's address — and the document goes straight into processing. No collecting folder, no "sort it out later".
02Client portal — upload
The client uploads documents directly through the portal under your brand (in the browser). They see you, not us.
03Telegram
A photo of a receipt straight from the messenger — and it becomes a draft entry. For the entrepreneur who is on the move.
04Tills & POS
The tills and payment terminals of the points of sale send us their daily closings automatically — every day, without anyone forwarding anything.
05Bank via EBICS
With a technical EBICS access we pull the bank statements automatically (camt.053) — every morning, with no manual upload.
06Payments via EBICS
Payments are prepared straight from the books (pain.001) and handed over to e-banking. They are signed and released by the client — we prepare, the client approves.
Every document is recognised, posted and linked to its entry — from intake to the general ledger with no intermediate step, and archived for 10 years (OR 958f).
Books that are right every morning.
Not in real time — every morning; banks update once a day. Overnight, the previous day's bank movements come in, are posted and reconciled — in the morning the balance sheet, income statement, receivables and payables stand as of last night. No stacks processed once a quarter. Multi-currency runs for real, with parallel books in EUR/CHF.
Every figure is reconciled against the source to the rappen — bank statement, VAT register, payslip. Review and signature stay with your fiduciary firm.
The true state, every morning.
When the books are updated every morning, reporting becomes a habit rather than an annual event: the entrepreneur sees every morning how the business is really running — revenue, costs, result.
And per location: a hospitality mandate with several branches runs each point of sale as its own cost and profit centre — they see which branch carries and which costs, not at the year-end close but the next morning.
The return too — automatically.
At period-end the VAT return is generated in the eCH-0217 format automatically from the running books — ready to file, for your review and signature. The declaration becomes a by-product; the value lies in the daily figures that lead up to it.
The client sees you. Never us.
The whole experience runs under your fiduciary firm's brand — right down to your own domain: your client uses abm.yourfirm.ch and sends their documents to documents@yourfirm.ch. Arvut is invisible to them — in the brand and in the address. Contractual: non-poaching.
This is no longer bookkeeping.
A business management system.
Frequent questions.
Why every morning and not instantly?
Because banks deliver account data once a day. What happened on the account yesterday is in the books the next morning — reconciled, not estimated.
What if the bank doesn't offer EBICS?
Then the statements continue to come in via upload or e-mail. The books are then as current as the latest statement — only the last metre is manual.
Does this automation cost extra?
Daily-updated books and the client portal are part of mandate servicing. Further connections — tills and POS, EBICS, your own domain — we set up per mandate; the scope we discuss with you.
Do all sources have to be connected at once?
No, step by step. We start with what works immediately (e-mail, portal, Telegram) and add tills/POS and the bank as soon as the accesses are in place.
Who owns the data?
Your fiduciary firm's client. The data is hosted in Switzerland, mandates are isolated from one another, documents are kept for 10 years (OR 958f). Export at any time.
Show it to one mandate.
Pick a mandate. We set up the automatic intake and keep the books up to date every morning — you and your client see the effect on your own data.
